The pure fact that this doesn’t even need a title or a description or anything speaks volumes. I mean look at the number of notes this has. There are so few people who don’t recognize it. And the song itself just gives you chills. It’s so magical.
This is the sound of everything being right with the world.
literally get huge chest pains everytime i hear this
Almost started crying
This song moved a generation. This song will never not make me cry a bit.

I’m twenty-two years old.
I get it. I’m young. The photographer I ride along with once a week makes this clear to me nearly every time I see him by picking out Prince songs I don’t know (aka most of them) or making references to 80’s kid’s TV shows.
I don’t know everything. I can’t even claim I…
wise words from the lovely carly. i kind of want to hang this up, framed, on my wall. seriously.
for a big girl job!
i may be a bit behind in that regard, seeing as i technically should have been doing this since before graduating, but hey—we’ll just say i was waiting for the right position to open rather than denying my current situation, which is a graduate job searching with a BA in english. what the f do you do, exactly, with a BA in english, if not teach?
edit, of course.
i found an opening for a position as an editorial assistant with an international publishing company. i applied. i have my fingers crossed. and i have a good feeling about it. even though it’s the first one. that’s alright.
hope it wasn’t a scam or anything, because i would be sad.
also, i’m probably moving in to a new place soon, which will be awesome.
also, i’m at the beach and the weather is gorgeous, which is also awesome.
bay breezes (the element and the drink) are also awesome.
today is the epitome of all the days.
after a night of karaoke, my friends and i have decided that tomorrow calls for a hike
8ish miles of scenic trail, interspersed with waterfalls!
so stoked. this is the kind of thing i’ve been looking forward to doing—making sudden decisions on how to spend a day, just because i can.
also, beach in three days. la la la la la la la life is wonderful.
